M. gracilis major
Originates by a broad tendon from the postero-ventral surface of the pelvic rim and inserts by two tendons. One broad tendon inserts on the knee aponeurosis, and in part on the ventro-medial surface of the tibiofibula. The other long tendon inserts on the posterior surface of the tibiofibula just below the proximal head.
