M. cruralis
Originates from the anterior surface of the hip joint capsule between the iliacus internus and the pectineus. Inserts by an aponeurosis attaching to the condyles of the femur and on the head of the cruris. This continues over the cruris to cover the tibialis anticus longus and peroneus to insert on the dorsal surface of those muscles.
